THE PAST…
In 1994 we were sent off by our home church in New City, New York by Pastor Carl Johnson to pursue the calling God had on our life. In 1996 we landed in the Yucatan and were overwhelmed with love for the people. We began building relationships with these beautiful people. We were confronted with the realities of drug abuse, alcoholism, and adultery that destroyed the family unit. We were compelled by Jesus to do something with His love and in His name. We brought mission teams to share and serve the people with the gospel of Jesus. We provided Bibles and other Biblical literature. We began to build and expand churches, started building a children’s center and infirmary, and truly committed to the people of the Yucatan.

THE PRESENT…
More than 20 years later there are 16 full time on site staff. The children’s centeris now hosting the Kingdom Academy and it is rapidly growing with approximately 200 K-8th grade registered students. YWAM Cancun founded the literacy program which has been expanded by Capstone Publishing and myON by Renaissance. The Cuna Maya community is now receiving food and personal hygiene products through the food distribution ministry. Many homes have been built through the Solid Floor Dry Roof program. A micro loan program is in place to partner with people to start or expand their ministry or business.
